Accidental Damage PlanUpdated a year ago

ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE PLAN

Accidents happen, and sometimes those accidents cause critical damage to your bicycle’s frame, rendering it unsafe or unfit to ride

In this situation, you may be entitled to an accidental damage plan discount provided your frame is still within the original manufacturer warranty period. Cosmetic damage or any damage caused intentionally is not eligible under this policy.

We define damage to be irreparable injury to the fitment of a compatible part or structural damage to the frame itself, meaning that the bike can no longer function as intended as a result of rider error.

  • The accidental damage plan only applies to the original owner and is limited to damage compromising the structural integrity and functionality of the bike. This includes, but is not limited to cracks, stripped threads and damaged ISCG tabs.

  • If approved, the rider may be eligible for discount on a comparable frame, or frame & shock if applicable, without componentry.

  • In some cases, a new frame may be provided without a shock and the existing shock can be transferred to the new frame.

  • An irreparable frame must be rendered beyond use before a new frame is sent to the rider or returned to Nukeproof upon request

  • It is not possible to request a different model frame unless a comparable frame is not available

  • If the same model year of frame is not available, a comparable alternative may be offered

  • The rider is responsible for all shipping and labor costs associated with facilitating any replacement

  • The original warranty period for the initial product purchased remains in effect and does not reset in the event of aaccident damage plan replacement

  • We reserve the right to deny an accident damage plan replacement at our discretion if we determine this policy is being abused.
